Biography

A Florida native, Dr. Paul Sawala served in the United States Coast Guard from 2002 to 2006, supporting border security and search-and-rescue missions during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Oregon and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he served as class president and a student council leader.

At GPM, Dr. Sawala takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that may include chiropractic techniques, soft-tissue therapy, and rehabilitation. He has a particular interest in sports injuries and musculoskeletal concerns. He tailors recommendations to the individual with the goal of supporting function and helping patients return to the activities they value.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Sawala is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hiking, golf, hockey, and making the most of the Arizona wilderness.
