When pain or restricted movement starts changing your day, the goal is not to guess at a solution. GPM begins with your history, symptoms, goals, and relevant findings, then explains whether chiropractic care belongs in your plan.
Concerns Connected to This Pathway
Visitors commonly explore this pathway for lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated or bulging disc concerns, headaches and migraines, TMJ concerns, and movement limitations. These symptoms may have different contributors, and not every presentation is appropriate for the same approach.
How GPM Approaches Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care at GPM is selected according to the individual rather than presented as one fixed method. The provider reviews relevant history and findings, explains the proposed approach, and reviews any safety considerations before care begins.
At Gilbert Physical Medicine, care isn’t one-size-fits-all. We use a range of techniques so you get an approach that fits your body and your comfort level — including our Arthrostim technique, the Thompson Drop, and the Activator Method: all gentle, low-force techniques with no popping or cracking. We also offer Flexion-Distraction, which applies gentle, rhythmic stretching through the table and is often a good fit for disc-related and stenotic presentations, or for patients who want a lower-force option. For patients who prefer a more traditional approach, we also offer Diversified adjustments. Your provider will recommend the technique, or combination of techniques, that fits your evaluation. In most cases, if the sound of a traditional adjustment isn’t for you, just ask — we’re happy to use a low-force approach instead, when it’s clinically appropriate.
Consistency matters, but everyone responds differently. New patients typically start with more frequent visits, and as your body responds, care often becomes less frequent — not unlike ramping up a new workout routine and settling into a rhythm over time. Patients who’ve been under care for a while often need less frequent visits to stay balanced. Your exact plan depends on your evaluation, your goals, and how you respond — there’s no one-size-fits-all schedule.
Connected Services
Depending on the evaluation, a broader plan may connect chiropractic care with spinal decompression, cold laser therapy, physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports medicine, or pain control. A link between pages does not mean every option is appropriate for every visitor.
